Consulting rooms

The veterinary surgeon will call you when it is time for your appointment.

You will then enter one of three Consulting Rooms where the Veterinary Surgeon examines and treats your pet. All information is entered into computers to keep a record of your pet's health and treatment. We routinely send reminders for boosters and annual health checks.

Basic diagnostic equipment such as otoscopes and ophthalmoscopes are used to examine the ears and eyes of your pet. A stethoscope is used to listen for any obvious abnormalities of the heart. Where appropriate, a thermometer is used to measure the temperature.

The Veterinary Surgeon will examine your pet thoroughly to arrive at a diagnosis and then administer appropriate treatment.

If your pet needs further examinations, tests or surgery, you can expect to find modern, very specialised equipment used in providing an accurate diagnosis.
